**FEMA COVID-19 Funeral Assistance Applications to Begin on April 12, 2021**
Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Congress authorized FEMA to provide up to $9,000 in financial assistance to individuals who incurred COVID-19 related funeral expenses after January 20, 2020. Hours of Operation: Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CDT beginning on April 12, 2021.
