Cayuga, Ind. - Bonnilee Delp, 71, of Cayuga, Indiana passed away at 8:36 p.m. EDT Friday, April 23, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She was born on November 22, 1949 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late Robert and Ruby (Swank) Donald.
Bonnilee enjoyed making stained glass lamps, painting pictures and doing crafts. Upon her completion of beauty school, Bonnilee worked as a beautician for many years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Eugene, Indiana and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She married Jerry Delp on November 21, 1967 and they enjoyed 53 years of marriage together.
Bonnilee is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Delp; daughter: Cheryl (Scott) Abernathy; son: Adam (Samantha Struver) Delp; grandchildren: Leah Abernathy, Trenton Abernathy, Dylan Vacricks and Olivia Struver; brother: Rick (Patty) Donald; half-sister: Marianne Burke; half-brother: Byron Fultz; stepsisters: Sally Craft and Susie Laney; step mother: Annalou Fultz; sister-in-law: Nancy Witsman, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; biological father: Dick Fultz; grandparents: Ben and Fearal Swank; grandson: Cameron Abernathy; half brother: David Fultz; step brother: Peter Craft and sister-in-law: Monie Rose.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Friday, April 30, 2021 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Brian Bartlett; Burial: Eugene, Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana; Visitation: Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.
