Cayuga, Ind. - Connie Sue King, 60, of rural Cayuga passed away at 10:09 a.m. EST Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Connie was born on June 25, 1960 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late Don and Joyce (Reynolds) Biggs.
She married Timothy R. King on October 13, 1984 in Newport, Indiana. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2006.
Survivors include her two sons: Matthew Ray King (Danielle Ogle) and Lucas Scott King (Taylor Turchi) both of Cayuga, Indiana; sister: Melinda (Kent) Dukes of Georgetown, Illinois; nieces: Heather (Kyle) Dines and Kari (Aaron) Martin, and nephew: Adams Dukes (Lacey Stelle).
Connie was preceded in death by her grandmother: Elsie Reynolds and father/mother-in-law: Samuel (Marilyn) King.
Connie was currently working at Genpact in Danville (43 years) in the mail room. She was a 1978 graduate of Georgetown High School. Connie enjoyed reading, raising flowers, working in her garden, spending time with her sons, nieces, nephew, great niece and great nephews, and her dog: Sophie. Family was everything to Connie. She was a mother to many and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. EST Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Cayuga Christian Church Youth Center, 406 South Logan Street, Cayuga, Indiana 47928; Officiating: Ashton Stewart; Burial: Silver Island Cemetery in rural Kingman, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EST Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Cayuga Christian Church Youth Center and one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Mask will be required. Contributions may be made to the Parke/Vermillion Humane Society, 1884 South State Road 63, Hillsdale, Indiana 47854.
