Obituary

Loren Paul Self, 64, of Elkhart, IN passed away April 19, 2022. He was born in Clinton, IN on December 1, 1957, to Melvin Roy Self and Betty (Farner) Blair.

Loren loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and riding his Harleys. He was always a jokester with friends and family. Loren also enjoyed watching romantic comedies. He worked in maintenance for Bayer Corporation for over 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ellen Rudolph.

Loren is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patty (Durham) Self; daughters, Bridget Bennett, Nicole Self and Jamie (Justin) Stevens; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 12 pm – 2 pm with a funeral service at 2 pm at DeVerter Funeral Home, 215 N. Division St., Cayuga, IN. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Lodi, IN.
